Lack of access to health services is preventing life-saving care for millions in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, 1 in 20 children dies before they turn 5.

  • Many of the leading causes of death in Pakistan are preventable, like viral hepatitis, dengue, tuberculosis, malaria, typhoid, HIV and cholera. This is the result of overpopulated cities, poor sanitation, unsafe drinking water and inadequate socioeconomic conditions.
  • 8,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in Pakistan, and up to 80% of them will die, without our help. The country allocates less than 2% of its GDP to health, and there are only 13 centres for paediatric cancer care across the entire country.
  • 78% of people in Pakistan pay for healthcare out-of-pocket. Government services are so poor, most seek healthcare in the private sector. This has led to massive issues of equity, accessibility and fairness, and traps families in a never-ending cycle of poverty.

8 Pakistani children die every hour.

  • 1 in 8 Pakistani children will die before the age of 5.
  • 1 in 20 women die due to pregnancy- or birth-related complications.
  • Every two hours a mother dies due to pregnancy complications.

Over 80% of newborn deaths in Pakistan are preventable with access to proper medical care.

Mothers, children and millions of others are struggling to survive without healthcare in Pakistan, and every dollar makes a difference.

How you can help RHI save lives in Pakistan?

Shifa Medical & Welfare Clinic is a free medical centre located in Karachi, the world’s largest slum.

The clinic offers a wide range of medical services to the general public, and has treated over 300,000 families.

So many communities are living without the human right of basic healthcare, and your donations help us provide these essential services where they’re desperately needed. Unfortunately, the clinic cannot afford to keep up with the community's rapid rise in patients and medical services.

Our Ehsaan Medical Center Hospital is located in a very remote area in Pakistan. It is quite far from the city and there are a lot of people living nearby, but there is no proper hospital.

So many people, especially women and children have passed away due the a lack of services. Our Medical Center is at the forefront to ensure that this does not happen and it’s only made possible with your donations.

We are providing free treatment and medication to those who cannot afford it. Our hospital provides service 24/7 and we have patients coming in from far away as well. Just imagine that the nearest city from our hospital is 55KM away.

We currently have 10 beds for our patients and we are providing medical care for up to 400 patients daily. The number of patients keep rising and we your help to continue giving FREE treatment and medicine to our poor brothers and sisters in Pakistan.

Your donations and efforts are greatly appreciated and will not be wasted. We provide services from general OPD, Gynaecology and birth deliveries, Minor surgeries, nutritional services, Physiotherapy, Lab testing, emergency room.

We deploy mobile medical clinics to remote regions of Pakistan.

Providing quality healthcare to these communities is a unique challenge as distance and lack of transportation make clinics and hospitals inaccessible.

Your donations help us reach these underserved communities with preventative and curative medical services they can’t access otherwise.

These communities are in crisis.

The people of Pakistan Karachi and Pakistan Faisalabad are suffering needlessly. All because they can’t access the basic healthcare we take for granted every day.

Your help is desperately needed right now.

Your brothers and sisters need you.

{… But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."} [Quran 34:39]

Will we stand by while our brothers and sisters in humanity suffer? Every dollar you spend on another will count as a reward with Allah SWT, bringing you one step closer to the Ultimate Reward. We have the opportunity and blessing to help others in their time of need. Will we answer their cries for help, or ignore them?
